We live in a time in which it seems as throwing blame and shame-or shade as my children call it-around is the favored way to go through life. If so and so are to blame, or shame on them for doing “x”, then I’ve created the perfect excuse for why I cannot or have not made what I want of my life. And while it may feel good to do so at the time, in those brutally honest hours of early morning, we know we are full of bullsh*t.
